Prioritizing Your Needs

I was talking to a patient the other day during her treatment and she was telling me about how much better she feels since starting our program. She has just started her second week of treatment, and is noticing changes in her abdomen. She is also noticing changes in her appetite and overall well-being.
Of all our patients, she is probably following our recommended diet the most strictly. She is also using our detoxification program to further aid her body in the process of eliminating the excess fat. She started the diet and supplementation program one week prior to her first treatment, and says she cannot believe how clean her body feels! After only two weeks, she has noticed she is eating significantly smaller portions and is turned off by many of the “sinful” foods she once ate regularly. The ZERONA is further accelerating her inch loss, and she is starting to see a more toned shape.
As I positioned the laser over her for treatment, joyful tears welled up in her eyes. She said “You know, somewhere along the way, I forgot to take care of my own needs along with the rest of my family. As a wife and mother, I’ve always made sure to take care of my family, and I stopped making myself a priority. Thank you for making me a priority. Now I am seeing that the more I take care of and love myself, the more love and care I will be able to give.”
She said, “Megan, don’t ever forget to put yourself on the list.”
I think this is worth repeating: “Don’t ever forget to put yourself on the list.”
She made my day. I’m so thankful for her gratitude, and even more motivated to help others reach their goals. This is why I do what I do
