Psychology and Zerona

The most recent Image magazine has an article entitled “The Psychology of Self-Improvement,” and it caught my attention. The article details how cosmetic procedures not only improve a person’s outward appearance, but also their overall well-being.
The spokesperson and president of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS), Dr. Donn Chatham, explains “There is a strong mind-body-spirit connection in all of us. If we feel physically lousy, it shows, and likewise if we feel great physically, our ‘outer selves’ will reflect this.”
He goes on to say: “As such, when we feel good about how we look and appear, this translates into a greater sense of well-being. It would not be unusual for a person who feels positive about how they look to also feel physically better. And if you take good care of one part, you are likely to also take good care of the other parts. They all complement one another.”
This is why we are also adamant about you maintaining a healthy diet and exercise regimen. We want to not only “melt” away your excess fat with ZERONA treatment, but we also want to get you on the right track toward achieving a greater sense of wellness.
The article goes on to explain how less invasive procedures are on the rise. Treatments involving injections, peels, and lasers reached 10.4 million in 2008, up 5 percent from the previous year (ASPS).
Clearly, people are catching on to the appeal of non-surgical procedures. The ability to continue with your daily activities right after treatment is certainly a perk! There is also the anonymity factor. No one has to know!
ZERONA will definitely put you on the path to looking and feeling better about yourself. Our goal is to have you leave our office each visit feeling rejuvenated and more confident than you did on your way in.
